Want to sell your artwork in our Gift Shop?
Up North Arts encourages established and emerging artists to join
our gift shop and gallery.
UNA artist benefits include a location to
display your work, potential features on the UNA Facebook page, and publicity from promotions
and news releases for the gift shop and gallery.
Joining the UNA community potentially offers
opportunities to work with other artists, participate in events and learn how to promote
and sell artwork. Artists are also encouraged to purchase a membership, teach in the classroom, do
demonstrations, and help plan special
events (such as “featured artists”).
After acceptance to sell and display your work, artists are required to sign a contract. UNA takes a 40% commission on items sold for non members of UNA and 30% for members of UNA.
If artwork is accepted, you must agree to accept the UNA Bylaws, which include the above conditions.
Artists are selected by jury process. To be considered, you must submit 2-3 physical samples of your work with detailed description, that can be reviewed by the Jury Members for one to two weeks. Decisions are based on originality, artistic impression, and workmanship, as well as suitability and diversity for the gift shop and gallery.
